When participants click Finish Call, Strella can immediately send them to any URL you specify — a completion page, a follow-up survey, a thank-you landing page, or any other destination in your research workflow. Setting this up takes less than a minute and keeps your participant experience seamless from start to finish.

When to Use Post-Interview Redirects

External completion tracking

Route participants to a third-party platform (e.g., a panel provider or survey tool) that needs to register a completion event.

Follow-up experiences

Send participants directly into a follow-up survey, diary study, or supplementary task that builds on the interview.

Thank-you pages

Land participants on a branded thank-you page that reinforces your company’s identity and closes the experience gracefully.

Consistent completion behavior

Ensure every participant in a project arrives at the same post-interview destination, regardless of how they joined the study.

Set Up Your Redirect URL

1

Open your project settings

Navigate to your project and click Settings in the top navigation bar.
2

Go to Interview Setup

Select Interview Setup from the settings sidebar.
3

Enter your redirect URL

Find the Redirect to URL field and enter the full destination URL, including https://.
4

Save your changes

Click Save. The redirect takes effect immediately for any participant who completes an interview after this point.
Always enter a full absolute URL that begins with https://. A partial URL (e.g., customer-redirect-url.com/call-completed without the protocol) will not work and participants will see an error instead of your destination page.

End-to-End Example

Here’s how the full participant journey looks once a redirect is configured:

Common Mistakes to Avoid

The redirect URL field requires a fully qualified URL. If you paste in customer-redirect-url.com/call-completed without https://, the redirect will fail. Always include the protocol.
Redirect URLs are configured per project. If you have multiple active studies, open the correct project before saving. Saving in the wrong project will redirect participants from the wrong study.
If you reuse a project template from a previous study, check that the Redirect to URL field contains the right destination for the new study. Old redirect URLs carry over with the template.
If you need to pass participant or session metadata to the redirect destination — for example, a participant ID or campaign tag — see Send Metadata via URL Parameters.
