Edit 1 — Adjust the length of a clip
Use this when a clip feels like it’s missing context or starts/ends at the wrong moment.1
Open the insight in the Saved tab
Go to the Saved tab and click the insight whose reel you want to edit. The highlight reel player and its associated clips will load on the page.
2
Click 'View session' on the clip you want to adjust
Find the clip in the right-hand panel and click View session. Strella takes you directly to the point in the original session transcript where that clip was captured.
3
Drag the start or end bar to resize the selection
In the transcript, you’ll see a blue start bar and a blue end bar marking the boundaries of your current selection. Click and drag either bar to expand or shrink the clip — move them outward to include more context, or inward to tighten the focus.
4
Return to the Saved tab
Navigate back to the Saved tab. The highlight reel will reflect your updated clip boundaries.
You can adjust the clip boundaries as many times as you need. Each change is saved immediately — there’s no separate save button.
Edit 2 — Reorder clips in the reel
Use this when you want a specific participant moment to appear first — for example, the clearest or most impactful quote.1
Open the insight in the Saved tab
Go to the Saved tab and click the insight you want to reorder.
2
Locate the notes panel on the right side of the page
The right panel lists each clip as a note, in the same order they appear in the highlight reel. The top note plays first.
3
Drag and drop notes into the order you want
Click and hold a note, then drag it up or down in the list to reposition it. Release it in the new position.
4
Confirm the reel order has updated
The highlight reel player reflects the new order immediately. Play through the reel to confirm the sequence tells the story you want.
