# Create, Refine, and Share Research Reports in Strella

> Generate a polished, AI-authored research report from your project data, refine it through chat, then share it with stakeholders via a web link.

The Reports tab is where your research becomes shareable. Strella's AI Chat can generate a complete, custom report drawn from your sessions, themes, and saved insights — in the format and focus you define. Once you've shaped it to your liking, share it with stakeholders via a simple web link, no export or formatting required.

## Create a report

    Go to **Results > Reports** in your project.

  <Step title="Click Create a report">
    Select **Create a report** to launch the AI Chat interface in report-creation mode.
  </Step>

  <Step title="Describe your report">
    Type a description of the report you want. Be as specific as you like — you can specify the audience, the focus areas, the format, or the key questions you want it to answer. For example:

    > "Create an executive summary focused on usability pain points, with key quotes and a recommendation section."

  <Step title="Review the generated report">
    Strella's AI searches across your project's sessions, themes, and participant responses to assemble a tailored report. It will appear in the chat interface for you to review.

  You can also launch report creation from anywhere in your project. Open the **AI Chat** tab and toggle **Create a report** on — then describe your report in the same way.

## Modify a report

After the initial report is generated, continue working with AI Chat to refine it iteratively.

    Read through the generated report and note anything you want to change — a section that needs more depth, a focus area to add, or content to remove.

  <Step title="Send follow-up prompts">
    Type your refinements directly in the chat. Examples:

    > "Add a section on participant demographics."

    > "Make the recommendations more specific."

    > "Shorten the methodology section."

  <Step title="Iterate until it's ready">
    Continue refining with as many prompts as you need. Each response updates the report based on your latest instruction.

  AI Chat always draws from your actual project data when generating or modifying reports. Every claim and quote in the report is grounded in what your participants said.

## Share a report

Once your report is ready to go, share it with stakeholders in a few steps.

    Click **Save** to store the report in your project's Reports tab.

  <Step title="Open the saved report">
    Navigate to **Results > Reports** and click to open the report you just saved.
  </Step>

  <Step title="Open Share settings">
    Click **Share** in the report view to open sharing options.
  </Step>

  <Step title="Share to web">
    Select **Share to web** to generate a publicly accessible link to your report.
  </Step>

  <Step title="Copy and distribute the link">
    Copy the generated link and send it to any stakeholders who need access — they can view the report in a browser without needing a Strella account.

  The "Share to web" link is publicly accessible to anyone with the URL. Only share it with stakeholders who are authorized to view the research findings.
