# Monitor Interviews in Real Time with Live Session Viewing

> Watch participant interviews as they happen in Strella so you can catch technical issues early and ensure a smooth session for everyone.

Live Session Viewing lets you observe interviews in real time — without interrupting the participant. Use it to catch technical issues before they derail a session, note emerging themes as they surface, or simply stay close to the research while the AI moderator runs the conversation.

## How to view a live session

  <Step title="Open the Results tab">
    Navigate to your project and click the **Results** tab in the top navigation.

  <Step title="Go to Sessions">
    Click into the **Sessions** tab to see all participant sessions for this project.
  </Step>

  <Step title="Find an active recording">
    Look for any session card displaying a **"Recording"** label — this indicates a participant is currently in their interview.
  </Step>

  <Step title="Click to watch live">
    Click into that session. You'll see the interview playing in real time, including the participant's video and audio feed.

<Tip>
  Keep the Live Viewing tab open in a separate browser window while managing other tasks. The feed updates automatically — you don't need to refresh.

  Live viewing is read-only. You cannot interact with or message the participant during their session.
