# Extend a Panel Audience to Collect More Participants

> Add more participants to an existing Strella panel order in a few clicks using the Audience Extension feature — no need to create a new order.

When your research needs grow beyond the number of participants you originally ordered, you don't need to start over. The Audience Extension feature lets you top up an existing panel order directly from the Recruit tab, so you can keep collecting interviews without interrupting your study.

## When to Use Audience Extension

Use this feature when:

* You've filled your initial order but need more data points to reach saturation
* New research questions emerge mid-study that require a larger sample
* You want to extend a segment that performed especially well in screening

<Note>
  You can add a maximum of **20 participants per extension**. If you need more than 20, complete one extension checkout first, then repeat the process.

## How to Add More Participants

<Steps>
  <Step title="Open the Recruit tab">
    Navigate to the **Recruit** tab inside your project and click **Orders** to see all panel orders for this study.

  <Step title="Open your order">
    Find the panel order you want to extend. Click the **three-button dropdown** on the right-hand side of that order row, then select **View**. A screen showing your full order details will appear.
  </Step>

  <Step title="Click Add Participants">
    Locate the **Add Participants** button on the order details screen and click it.
  </Step>

  <Step title="Enter the number of additional interviews">
    Enter how many additional interviews you'd like to collect. Remember the maximum is **20 at a time**.

  <Step title="Complete checkout">
    Review your order and check out using your corporate card or request payment via invoice.

  If you need more than 20 additional participants, complete the first extension checkout and then repeat these steps as many times as needed.

## What Happens Next

Once your extension order is placed, Strella adds the new participant slots to your existing order. Recruiting resumes automatically — new qualified participants are invited according to your existing screener and scheduling settings, with no further action required from you.
